2) The annual guide on investment "How to invest in Russia" by Association of European Businesses (AEB).
The Committee on Finance and Investment of Association of European Businesses (AEB) has published annual guide for investors in Russia, "How to Invest in Russia 2011". The article "Now that you've got the Russian financial statements, what are you going to do? How the Russian financial statements can be useful to a foreign investor" written by Anton Kalanov, International Reporting Department Director, ACG "Interexpertiza", describes how a foreigner can benefit from use of financial statements prepared under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS). 3) Presentation from the seminar on comparison of IFRS for SMEs and RAS.
Here you can download the presentation for the report on IFRS for SMEs made by Anton Kalanov, International Reporting Department Director, ACG "Interexpertiza". This report describes IFRS for small and medium enterprises, main differences of this standards compared to full-scale IFRS and RAS and the implications of the standard chosen on the complexity and reliability of financial statements. The report was presented on the conference "What's new in IFRS" which was organized for members of Assosiation of European Businesses in Russia (AEB).

Among the world's economies, Kazakhstan improved business regulation the most in the past year, according to Doing Business 2011: Making a Difference for Entrepreneurs, the eighth in a series of annual reports published by IFC and the World Bank. In the past five years, about 85 percent of the world's economies have made it easier for local entrepreneurs to operate, through 1,511 improvements to business regulation. Doing Business 2011 pioneers a new measure showing how much business regulation has changed in 174 economies since 2005. China and India are among the top 40 most-improved economies. Among the top 30 most-improved economies, a third are from Sub-Saharan Africa.
